The Loft

A modern tearoom with a vintage vibe, The Loft is close to the marina in the lovely Essex village of Tollesbury. Full of character, and with walls covered by an eclectic range of artworks, The Loft offers freshly ground coffee and a variety of loose leaf teas all served in beautiful vintage china, as well as light lunches and delicious home-made cakes. Sundays are especially lovely here as, for a true step back in time, 'proper vinyl' gets a spin on the record player... prepare to be transported back to the days of your youth (or further). One of the endearing features of Tollesbury is the tide that can be very high and may even reach the steps of the tearoom at times – there is a side entrance so you can still gain entrance, but do check the tide times if you plan to arrive by car and want to park close by!
Dogs aren't allowed inside The Loft, but they and their owners can sit outside...  blankets are available if it's a bit chilly.
